Now more than ever, it is imperative that we enhance infection control skills for our nation’s workforce to better protect ourselves and our families from the threat of emerging diseases.
This training provides instruction on recognition of and protection from highly infectious and newly emerging threats in the workplace. The online, learn-as-you-go format delivers awareness level training to non-clinical workers in healthcare, public health, and law enforcement. Participants of this training will learn how to effectively protect themselves from potential encounters with highly infectious and emerging diseases in their work setting.
The first module provides instruction on basic concepts of disease transmission and personal infection control. Upon completion of the first module, participants can access an optional second module to review additional techniques specific to public health and law enforcement workforces.
