Format	Self-paced online course, consisting of four separate modules View technical requirements This course is compatible with most major browsers.
Length of course	Module 1: 30 Minutes Module 2: 15 Minutes Module 3: 15 Minutes Module 4: 15 Minutes The total course duration is estimated to be 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Target Audience:

Behavioral health providers working with women with co-occurring substance use disorders, mental health and histories of trauma.

Certificates:

In order to receive a Certificate of Training, you must complete all four modules within the course.

Module Learning Objectives and Overviews:

Module 1. Introduction and Overview of the Boston Consortium Model

By the conclusion of this 30-minute course, you will be able to answer the following questions:

What is trauma and how does it relate to substance use disorders?
What is trauma-informed care and how can it help you improve services for women you serve?
What is the Boston Consortium and how did it improve services for women in substance use treatment?
How can you replicate the Boston Consortium Model within your own program or system of care?

Module 2. Economic Success in Recovery

This 15-minute course will provide an understanding of Economy Success in Recovery, one of three skills-building educational group curricula developed as part of the Boston Consortium Model. The goals of the ESR curriculum include:

Understanding how money management relates to the recovery process;
Developing effective money management skills; and
Identifying and planning educational, vocational, and job training opportunities and objectives.

Module 3. Women's Leadership Training Institute

This 15-minute course will provide an introduction to the Women's Leadership Training Institute, one of the three skills-building educational group curricula developed as part of the Boston Consortium Model. The primary goal of WLTI program is to develop leadership skills among women in recovery, so they can use their own experiences and voices to improve services for families.

Module 4. Pathways to Family Reunification

This 15-minute course will introduce you to Pathways in Family Reunification, one of the three intervention skills-building educational group curricula developed as part of the Boston Consortium Model. The goals of this curriculum include:

Helping women re-connect with their children and examine feelings related to their recovery process;
Advocating effectively on their own behalf to reach a positive reunification outcome; and
Managing emotions related to the challenges when women are reunited with their children.
