Emergencies don’t wait for you to prepare before they strike. They can happen at any time, anywhere. From hurricanes and blizzards to house fires and flooding, you need to be prepared and ready to protect yourself, your loved ones, and your community. The City of Boston isn’t prepared unless you are.
This online module will outline strategies and suggestions for you and your loved ones to get ready, be safe, and stay healthy in the event of an emergency. A prepared Boston starts with prepared individuals, neighborhoods, and communities. It is important that all community members learn how to prepare themselves and others for emergencies.
This course will provide examples of best practices, guidelines, preparedness tools, and local and state-wide resources that will help participants develop emergency plans and strengthen the readiness of Boston communities. A healthy and connected community is more resilient, or able to bounce back, after an emergency.
